Why President Trump Should Put Down the Rebellion in California

In an act of total defiance toward President Trump, Gov. Jerry “Moonbeam” Brown signed a highly controversial bill that makes California the first-ever “Sanctuary State” effective January 1st, 2018.

SB54 severely restricts enforcement of federal immigration law, by limiting cooperation between state and local law enforcement agencies and Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE), protecting dangerous criminal aliens from deportation.

According to the Constitution, immigration falls under Federal, not State, authority.  (See Article IV, Section IV, US Constitution).

What’s at stake is not just Trump’s moral authority on the issue he staked his presidency on; what’s at stake is the future of the Constitutional Republic itself.

If one state decides to flout the Federal government over execution of an enumerated duty, what’s to stop the rest of the Union from going rogue?

Even though California threatened to leave the United States, it hasn’t yet.  But you’d never know that by the way California Democrats have behaved.  They act as if they’re supreme dictators of a rogue nation state known as Californiastan.

Since Trump was elected, Democrats have defied him at every turn, declaring California the epicenter of #resistance to Trump.

  • When President Trump threatened to cut off federal funds to ‘Sanctuary’ cities, counties and other entities, Democrats immediately went to court to protect their federal income streams, and succeeded in getting a temporary injunction on any federal action pending the outcome of the case.

What’s President Trump going to do about it?

Is he going to get tough and treat California like seditious rogue state that it has become, and starve them of all federal funds and take them to court over Federal Law, or is he going to let Brown trump him?

Trump does have other options as well.  He could instruct ICE to conduct actual “old-school” immigration enforcement at job sites, day labor gathering points and on street corners, as well as take down dangerous criminal aliens without any assistance from local law enforcement, making Jerry Brown look like an idiot for pretending to make California a ‘Sanctuary State’ when in fact it’s become the wild, wild west and all bets are off.

What’s Trump’s gonna do?

That’s the question.

How Trump answers it determines his credibility with conservatives and ultimately, the success or failure of his presidency.

  1. I’m furious that Sacramento can put this policy in place without a vote from the people. But they would let illegals outvote citizens anyway. I hope Trump will stop this, even if it hurts us law-abiding citizens for a time, since without law enforcement funds, it will be harder for cities and counties who want to enforce the law to do so.

  2. President Trump,
Please save California from all these illegal acts! Not all Californians are nuts!

  3. We need New Leadership in Ca. This is insane…

  4. I want Trump to send all them illegals people back to their own country, i don’t want them here at and Brown keep your nose out of and let Trump do his job to get rid of all these illegals once and for all.

  5. We need leadership that will stop crippling this state. Less personal agenda and more for hard working citizens of this great State!

  6. Send the mess ,trash, non insured Illegals, Violent law breakers to Jerry Brown’s home. Let him live with the Illegals and see if he receives a clear picture.

  7. If corrupt Brown wants to represent illegal criminals in sanctuary state, he’s created, he needs to be charged and sued every time a citizen is hurt or murdered by one of his illegals, because he doesn’t represent the California citizens. He had no right to do what he did, this state doesn’t belong to him or the criminals he represents..

  8. When will Californians grow a spine and take care of this problem themselves?
