Breaking News: Bannon Forced Out, Trump Presidency in Jeopardy

Today, August 18th, 2017 is the day the Trump Presidency as we knew it, ended.

By forcing presidential advisor Steve Bannon out, Trump pushed the last best voice of the people out of his inner circle, which is now solely populated by establishment figures.

In a recent interview in which Bannon was clearly speaking unguarded–which we now know was a post-resignation slap at Trump–Bannon blasted the Charlottesville “ethnic nationalist” as “clowns,” sounding far more presidential than Trump’s weak-kneed approach, which only emboldened his enemies.

Bannon showed that by ridiculing those whom the media is attempting to use to smear you, you win.   Bannon was smeared by the media as the poster child for the ‘alt-right,’ a term the media coined to denigrate Americans who believe in what Michael Savage calls “borders, language and culture.”

Rumor has it that Trump cannot stand dissent in his inner circle, and if Bannon is anything, he’s brusque and unflinching in what he believes.

I believe Trump made an unforced, fatal error in removing his truest advisor, one he will lie to regret.

Trump threw the media a bone, using Bannon’s ousting as a proxy–as if that will get the media to stop calling Trump a racist.

Steve Bannon hired me to write for Breitbart, and for that I’ll be forever grateful.  He is an honorable and decent man, and hardcore American Patriot.

Thank you, sir, for your service to God and Country.

You’ll be missed.

Breaking News: 8 California Establishment Republicans Vote for .63 Gas Tax Increase (Disguised as Cap and Trade Tax)

Eight California GOP establishment legislators—including Sen. Tom Berryhill, and Assemblymen Mayes, Chavez, and Steinorth—voted for a .63 per gallon gas tax, handing Gov. Jerry Brown another victory and a massive slush fund to spend on things like High Speed Rail.

Complete List of Sell-outs:

State Assembly:

  • Rocky Chavez

Final Vote Tally on Brown’s Cap N Trade Gas Tax (AB 398)
  • Chad Mayes
  • Catharine Baker
  • Devon Mathis
  • Jordan Cunningham
  • Heath Flora
  • Marc Steinorth

State Senate

  • Tom Berryhill

Earlier in the day former Gov. Pete Wilson, and former U.S. Secretary of State George P. Shultz came out and endorsed the gas tax increase disguised as a mere extension of the Cap and Trade scheme—which was originally passed out of the legislature by a simple majority in spite of the constitutional requirement for a tax or fee to be passed by 2/3’s.

According to the Legislative Analyst Office, Brown’s Cap and Trade Scheme—which requires oil and gas companies to comply— will cost Californians between .63 and .73 per gallon at the pump in higher prices (aka .63-.73/gallon hidden gas tax).

See letter from LAO to Assemblyman Fong (R-Bakersfield) left.

Democrat Governor Jerry Brown put some catnip for conservatives in the bill including the repeal of the illegally-passed Fire Tax (but the increase in gasoline by .63-.73 per gallon will easily eclipse the $152 Fire Tax in the first few months of the year, depending on how far your daily commute.)

In exchange for delivering Republican votes, Assembly Minority Loser Mayes was promised that his ACA 1, granting the minority party “more say” in how the Cap and Trade Revenues are spent.  That was passed by 58 votes including almost every Republican.  Evidently none of Mayes staff told him that every single Democrat promise made in the past in exchange for selling out core principles has been broken, held up in court and simply forgotten.

Mayes made a deal with the devil, and expects the devil will honor it.

The irony is that the moribund California GOP has spent millions, hoping to “rebuild it’s brand” by recalling Democrat State Senator Josh Newman over a .12 gas tax increase.   Assemblyman Travis Allen is staking his gubernatorial bid on getting enough signatures to overturn the same .12 gas tax increase.

And now the so-called leader of the Republicans in the Assembly and 7 other GOP representatives sold their souls for a gas tax increase that is 5-fold over and above the one the GOP was willing to go to war over.

And by giving Jerry Brown the vote he needed in the assembly to “lawsuit-proof” Cap and Trade from any further challenges on it’s constitutionality as a legally passed tax, they legitimized the continued confiscation of capital without consequence.

They also provided cover for embattled Democrats, who did not have to proffer their vote for what is quickly becoming one of the most unpopular votes ever as voters discover what’s in the bill.

Wasn’t it Einstein who said the definition of insanity is trying the same thing over and over again and hoping for a different result?

First the CA GOP turned it’s back on Trump (even though now they’re backpedalling like crazy to cover up the evidence), and now they’re the deciding votes on the biggest tax increase on working Californians in recent history.

No wonder GOP registration is barely 25.9%, the lowest in California history.

Brown’s ‘No-Cuts’ Budget Raises Taxes to Pay for Illegal’s Legal Defense, Fund Planned Parenthood and More Gun Control

The largest budget in California history contains none of Gov. Jerry Brown’s promised cuts—but it’s chock full of nasty surprises for taxpayers—including increases in taxes, more money for legal defense of illegal aliens, and expands gun control.

This budget is a far cry from the priorities Gov. Jerry Brown laid out back in January.  When the economy was still struggling, and revenues were skittish, Brown promised cuts to increases in education, subsidized childcare and planned to “phase out a middle-class college scholarship program,” according to a Capitol Radio story.

But that’s not even close to the whole story.

An ABC News/AP Story explains why there are two different budget numbers floating around in press reports:

“The one-year budget takes effect July 1. The $125 billion figure reflects spending from the general fund — the money over which lawmakers have the most control. Including bonds and special funds, the budget is $183 billion.”

When you take into account the entire budget at just under $200 billion—included are the projected revenues from the cigarette, marijuana and gas taxes recently passed—it’s easy to see how so many individual spending items fly under the radar.

Nasty Surprises in California’s $183B budget plan

  • Expands Gun Control
  • Higher Taxes on cigarettes, and gasoline
  • $118M Startup Cash for Marijuana Industry Tax Collection dept.
  • $50M in funding to Planned Parenthood (to offset any federal cuts per LA Times)
  • Prevents any new Federal Immigration Detention contracts with local governments (squash deportations)
  • Expands the Low-Income Tax Credits to those too poor to pay state income tax
  • $50M in Additional Aid for illegal alien legal protection
  • Diverts cigarette tax money to cover MediCal deficit and fully fund medical and dental for welfare recipients
  • Borrows $6B from a state fund to restore CalPERS fund
  • Increases subsidies for childcare by $15.5M for poor
  • Language that keeps Oroville Dam Repair Plan Secret
  • Resets clock in recall elections to prevent Josh Newman recall and protect SuperMajority

According to an article in the Los Angeles Times, “[g]un rights advocates are fuming over some language buried in [the] state budget bill that would expand the number of Californians who can’t get guns.

Current law prohibits the possession of firearms by those convicted of a felony, but the new legislation would extend that to those with outstanding warrants for a felony or certain misdemeanors.”

North Bay Business Journal reports that the budget includes “$118 million to pay for startup costs for the newly regulated [marijuana] industry, including technology and staff to work on regulations and issue licenses. The state will open a tax office in the remote region north of San Francisco so marijuana businesses can pay their taxes in cash without having to drive long distances with thousands of dollars.”  Under new regulations, it will now be legal in California to sell marijuana at state fairs and for home delivery. The reason the industry must deal in cash?   Banks are federally regulated—and marijuana is still illegal under federal law.

The irony is that Democrat leaders have a very different take on the budget accord than ordinary Californians—if growing opposition to the gas tax is any sign.

Less than $3 billion will go to infrastructure ($2.8 billion for mostly local roads and transit projects) and barely $111 million of the $7 Billion water bond passed under Prop 1—and 2 years after the passage, this money will only be spent to assess and evaluate safety of, not build, any actual dams.

To add insult to injury, the Los Angeles Times reports that “[o]n the legislation’s second-to-last page, it says the required emergency action plans would be kept confidential to ‘protect public safety.’’

Republican James Gallagher, the assemblyman who represents Yuba City where the Oroville Dam is located, took exception to the proposed secrecy.

“So there’s clearly problems with the emergency action plan at the dam that we need to improve and change,” Gallagher reportedly said, “But they’re going shield it from public review and criticism.”

“Brown, a Democrat, has called the budget ‘balanced and progressive,’ [according to an ABC New report,] Legislative Democrats said it would help alleviate poverty while building up savings for a future economic downturn.

‘This is a budget that does things for people, not to people,’ Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon [reportedly said]. ‘With this budget, we keep our promises to students, patients, and voters… In this budget, we will protect what we have gained and we will persist in moving forward.’”

The $45 million in increased funding to expand legal services for illegal aliens over Brown’s original $30-million budget request is sure to rile up Californians now being forced to pay more in gas taxes just to maintain crumbling roads.  Democrats are making good on their promises to do everything in their power to keep illegal aliens—including criminal aliens—from being deported by the Trump administration.

And California voters are not likely to forget their priorities come election time.

“Today’s vote confirms our responsibility to protect the due process rights of people living within our borders which is fundamental to our democracy,” Hueso, chair of the Latino Caucus, said in a statement picked up by the Los Angeles Times.

Giving Only Congressman Reciprocal Right to Conceal Carry in DC is Misguided, It’s Everyone’s Right to Carry

A Republican Lawmaker is pushing to grant Congressmen reciprocal carry rights in DC in response to the attempted assassination of numerous Republican representatives today in Alexandria, Virginia.

On the surface, it may sound good, but not after you think about it for a moment.

Why only Congressional Representatives?

What makes them so special?  After all, we are all equal under the law, and our form of self-government allows for us to be ruled “by the people.”

So why preferential treatment only for those in elected office?

The California legislature pushed a similar bill after AZ Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords was shot in 2011.  The problem is that ordinary citizens are routinely denied the same “special right” that some wish to confer on elected representatives.

The 2nd Amendment is clear.  It was intended to empower the people in the defense of their freedom and to secure their natural rights.

26 of the most powerful words in any language:

“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

The idea of creating a higher tier of rights that would apply only to those holding elected office would be deeply offensive to the founders and violate the intent and purpose of the establishment of the American government as outlined in the Declaration, and reinforced in the Constitution—which was, in essence, to secure and safeguard our natural, God-given rights—that of “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”

And when the government becomes the greatest threat to the very rights it was formed to protect—by abridging and infringing the 2nd Amendment for example—citizens have every right to “alter or abolish” it.

Best place to start—abolish laws that only apply to elected officials as if they are a “special class.”

The San Bernardino Terrorist Attack made it clear to every American paying attention that not only can’t the government protect you, it won’t—in fact, by granting a visa to a radicalized Muslim like Tafsheen Malik, they’ve put you in even greater danger.

And the most expedient way for the average American to improve their likelihood of surviving an active shooting situation?  Even in a gov’t-declared gun-free zone like San Bernardino?

Carry.  That’s right.  I said it.  Training with your weapon is important, but even more so, make sure it is with you and ready to go at all times.

Simply exercise your right “to keep and bear arms” and carry as necessary to perform the function that Government failed to do.

Note:  I didn’t say go beg for permission to carry from a Sheriff, and pay the government a yearly bribe to exercise your natural, God-given right to defend your life and your freedom.  Some people choose to do that.  My question to them is always—why? Most want to avoid trouble with the law.  But the only way to true freedom is to understand that your right to life trump all manmade laws, but you cannot live free if you cannot first think free.”

Do more than pray for the victims—empower yourself so that if you’re ever called upon, you neutralize the threat and save your own life and the lives of others.

Fresno shooting spree: 3 people killed, suspect who yelled ‘Allahu Akbar,’ says he ‘hates white people’ in custody

From and Fox News Reports….DEVELOPING: Three people were killed after a man went on a shooting spree in downtown Fresno, California on Tuesday while shouting “God is great” in Arabic before he was tackled and taken into custody, police said.

Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer said officers took Kori Ali Muhammad, 39, into custody in connection to the shootings. Dyer said Muhammad went by the nickname “Black Jesus” and shouted “Allahu Akbar” as police tackled him to the ground.

Dyer said at a news conference Muhammad told police that he hates white people, and has made posts against white people and the government on his Facebook page. All of the victims of the shooting rampage on Tuesday were white men, according to police.

The shooting spree began around 10:45 a.m. local time, when one person was shot in a PG&E utility truck, a second person was shot on Fulton Street and a third person was shot in the parking lot of Catholic Charities, FOX 26 News reported.

All three shooting locations were close to each other in the downtown area. Around 16 shots were fired during the shooting spree, police said.

“What we know is that this was a random act of violence,” Dyer said. “There is every reason to believe he acted alone.”

Muhammad was already wanted in connection to the killing of an unarmed security guard at a Motel 6 last week, police said.

“Our thoughts are with all involved in the incident that occurred in Fresno today,” PG&E said in a statement. “Public and employee safety is always our top priority. We are still gathering information on what happened, and will work to support first responders and law enforcement in their efforts.”

Dyer said Fresno police have called the FBI to assist in the investigation. Muhammad made other statements to police, but Dyer did not disclose what they were.

One of the shooting scenes happened outside a Catholic Charities building, but officials don’t believe the suspect was tied to the nonprofit organization.

Following the shooting, Fresno city spokesman Mark Standriff said county offices were placed on lockdown, and people were urged to shelter in place.  Read the rest of the story here.

Leftist Media Describes Deadly Terrorist Attack On Anniversary of Brussels Massacre ‘Firearms Incident’

Hard to believe that we still have those in the media who cannot simply say what they see.  A lone attacker runs innocent people over on purpose, then stabs a cop in an attempt to get into Britain’s Parliament only 40 yards from the Prime Minister, and Yahoo News called it a ‘Firearms Incident’ rather than a ‘Terrorist Attack’.

Who does that?

Especially considering the initial attack was “an ordinary family car”, “a knife (see picture) and the only gun used was by cops to stop the terrorist.

But the left’s obsession with covering up for radical Islam and blaming ‘guns’ knows no bounds.

Sky News summarized the incident as follows:

The assailant has been shot.

Commander BJ Harrington of the Metropolitan Police said there were “a number of casualties”, including police officers, but could not comment on the numbers or nature of the injuries.

Eyewitnesses have said the attacker mowed down pedestrians on Westminster Bridge before crashing his car into railings outside the Houses of Parliament then running out with a knife, stabbing a police officer and then being shot.

Photos show several people injured on Westminster Bridge, some bleeding heavily, others lying in blood.

Ambulances rushed to the scene as the area was cordoned off.

So far the name of the terrorist is not known, but since the incident happened on the anniversary of the horrific Brussel Massacre a year aid that left 32 people dead and over 100 wounded, it is most likely that he will be found to be a radicalized Islamist.

I’ll leave it to others to be politically correct and pretend we don’t know what we don’t know.

California Democrats Threaten to Stop Paying Federal Taxes

California Democrats are going on the offensive, firing the first shot in their pitched battle with President Donald J. Trump, and threatening to “cut off the Feds” by withholding taxes.

According to CBS San Francisco, former State Assembly Speaker Willie Brown, Jr. said: “California could very well become an organized non-payer. … They could recommend non-compliance with the federal tax code.” Democrats are considering the tax revolt as part of what CBS San Francisco called an “all-out war” against the Trump administration, which could also include holding back state transfers of funds to the federal government.

The list of potential state transfers to Washington is limited, however, according to one expert on the inner workings of California’s government contacted by Breitbart News, who did not wish to be named. He cited the handful of areas where the State of California remits large dollar amounts, including biweekly federal tax withholding from millions of state workers, and worker’s compensation fund payments.

California is often described as a “donor state,” meaning that California remits more money than it takes in federal funds to keep hundreds of entitlement programs afloat. While that may be true, it does not paint an accurate picture of California’s finances.

As Governor Jerry Brown admitted in his “State of the State” speech last week, the Golden State is dependent on “tens of billions of dollars” to keep Covered California (California’s version of ObamaCare) afloat, such that losing it would blow a hole in California’s budget, creating a massive shortfall.

If state officials move to stop federal withholdings, that would put California state workers in a very precarious position, and could have profound consequences for the state as a non-compliant employer — not to mention massive financial penalties that could be assessed.

California Democrats are accustomed to steamrolling over the weak opposition, to say nothing of crushing individual business large and small, often taking on entire industries like the twin behemoths — oil and agriculture — and forcing them to comply or die.

(Remember the Amazon sales tax fight in California?  The world’s most valuable company folded like an empty suit in a hurricane.)

But California Democrats have never dealt with anyone like our new president.  President Donald J. Trump is not likely to tolerate lawlessness and defiance from a petulant blue minority in a nation turned red. Threats to cut off what would not even amount to 10% of the money flowing from California to Washington, D.C. could trigger President Trump turning off the spigot altogether — essentially drying up the almost 80% of California funds that are returned to the state in federal funding.

Democrats, drunk on local power, seem to have forgotten the lessons of 1992, when Republican Governor Pete Wilson came out and announced, “This morning, California is running on empty,” and the state began issuing I.O.U.’s in lieu of payment for the first time since the Great Depression.

Failing to remit worker’s compensation funds put California in arrears for decades.

Do Democrats really want to risk California’s solvency by throwing sand in the eye of the Leviathan?

If the Trump administration holds the “Trump card” simply by shutting off the subsidies for one program — and Gov. Brown admits they do when it comes to ObamaCare funding — it is clear which side holds the leverage.

California is particularly vulnerable because of the dependence of many illegal aliens on public assistance, and on the federal earned income tax credit.

With the stroke of a pen, President Trump could shut down the state by cutting off or delaying funds.

Moreover, federal funds fuel almost every major institution in California, including:

  • Military Bases
  • K-12 Schools
  • Public Colleges and Universities (Federal funds, student loans)
  • Airports
  • Ports
  • Federal contracts with technology and defense companies

Since the California Constitution forbids deficit funding, the state cannot live off credit cards alone.

With over $400 billion in debt, and with a state pension system dangerously underfunded, a sustained battle with the federal government would break the already broke state.

California’s Recipe for Voter Fraud on a Massive Scale

The media have exhibited a pathological determination to ignore any possibility of voter fraud, in spite of mountains of evidence to the contrary.

In this week’s headlines, the narrative is repeated over and over again: President Donald Trump is making it all up.

USA Today: “Fact check: Trump claims massive voter fraud; here’s the truth

Washington Post: “Trump’s imaginary ‘voter fraud’ claims will make it harder for minorities to vote

New York Times:  “Trump’s Voter Fraud Example? A Troubled Tale With Bernhard Langer

Los Angeles Times: “President Trump’s voter fraud allegation is ‘a lie,’ says California’s top elections officer

According to the latter article, California Secretary of State Alex Padilla called President Trump a liar.

Breitbart News’ calls to the Secretary of State’s office for a comment were not returned, but that is not surprising. California has intentionally created a recipe for voter fraud on a massive scale.

Here’s the recipe, from an article I wrote in November for

Treat anyone who proposes a Voter ID bill like [Saul] Alinsky would — shame them, shun them, ridicule, then repeat.

Make access so easy that you can register to vote online up to 15 days prior to Election Day and still vote. (They pushed for same day voter registration so that people who “forgot” to register could still register & “participate” as late as Election Day).

Make a major push to move as many voters as possible to mail-in ballots (permanent absentee ballots).

Spend millions of taxpayer dollars handing out Drivers Licenses to millions of people illegally present in the state (with an asterisk stating, “Federal Limits Apply”).

Pass a law requiring everyone who has a California Drivers License to be “automatically” registered to vote—including illegal aliens.

“If the voter does not check either the “Yes” or “No” box (for whether or not they are US Citizen), and the registration is otherwise complete, the registration should be processed normally and entered on the voter rolls.” (See screenshot of official publication below on California Secretary of State Website regarding CA compliance with National Voting Rights Act (NVRA):

Never update statewide voter database with any information that ever disqualif[ies] a voter — especially county coroner lists of the newly deceased.

Voter fraud recipe (Screen shot)

Voter fraud recipe (Screen shot)

When you look at what California has done to protect the ruling class of Democrat politicians and powerful public sector unions who represent the legions of bureaucrats, it’s diabolically simple and diabolically clever.

And easy to understand why.

Hundreds of millions in contracts and pay increases for tens of thousands of public sector unions and permanent political careers for politicians are at stake, and as long as the unions keep their cronies in power, the gravy train continues.

All you have to do is follow the money.

They created a system where it was virtually impossible to ever catch anyone cheating, removed all verification processes, automatically register[ed] all drivers license holders — whether they like it or not, and then launch[ed] that program immediately after granting every one of the untold millions of illegal aliens in California a driver[‘s] license.

When the Election Integrity Project brought forth a report on documented voter fraud, the LA Times and other publications slamming Mr. Trump — you guessed it — (yawn) ignored the facts.

California is not an isolated case.

A Breitbart News story from October documents serious, widespread voter fraud involving non-citizen voting in Virginia.  Many of the safeguards previously in place have been removed — in large part due to pressure brought by George Soros-backed organizations ostensibly fighting for voter integrity.  The only problem is that these Soros-funded groups oppose Voter ID laws and every effective measure to safeguard the integrity of the vote.

Breitbart News story disclosed that in Virginia, “state officials had used the federal Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements database [SAVE] … to detect and remove aliens from the voting rolls.” And it added: “One of the top priorities of the Soros Advancement Project is to stop the use of SAVE to purge voter lists.”

Last year, in New York City, Alan Schulkin, Commissioner of the Board of Elections, was caught on hidden video by Provject Veritas talking about how Democrats commit voter fraud in New York City.

“Yeah, they should ask for your ID. I think there is a lot of voter fraud,” said Schulkin, who elaborated on the types of voter fraud that are taking place in New York.

Voter fraud has been labeled as a right-wing myth by the left, but Schulkin, a Democrat, confirmed everyone’s worst fears, going against the grain of his own party.

“You know, I don’t think it’s too much to ask somebody to show some kind of an ID … Like I say, people don’t realize, certain neighborhoods in particular they bus people around to vote,” said Schulkin.

According to a Fox News op-ed by John Fund and Hans A. von Spakovsky, President Trump’s investigation of voter fraud is long overdue. The piece documents a complete unwillingness of President Barack Obama’s Department of Justice to take any action. “This refusal to enforce the law came despite a 2012 study from the Pew Center on the States estimating that one out of every eight voter registrations is inaccurate, out-of-date or a duplicate.”

One thing we do know, if President Trump acts, the media will cover it.

And who knows, maybe the guy who defied every prediction, and became the most powerful political leader in the world, will succeed in forcing the media to cover the failings of the very foundation of our Republic — our elections — and build public pressure to fix them.

Donnelly: Dear Mr. President-Elect, Please ‘Pick a Fight’ with California on Behalf of the American People

Even though most Americans view California as a lost cause—the “land of fruits and nuts”—and now, the epicenter of resistance to President-Elect Trump, it would be a mistake to ignore it.
The whiny, crybaby brigade of Democrats in leadership, who wield unchecked power over the most populous, and in many ways, the most significant state, are losing their minds.

California Democrats doubled down this week—hiring former US Attorney General Eric Holder to go on offense against the policies of the incoming White House.

President-Elect Trump should engage California’s petulant leaders in much the same way—“pick a fight.”

Ignoring California in hopes that it will go away would be a disastrous mistake. California is far too important to the national security of the United States to simply ignore it.

In spite of the government-created water crisis that has devastated the world’s “food basket,” (the San Joaquin Valley), California still supplies a majority of US agricultural products for export. Grapes, citrus, almonds—yes, fruits and nuts–(no surprise here)—in addition to beef, poultry, dairy, tomatoes, all manner of vegetables, alfalfa, wine, cotton…to name a few.

Water wars between federal and state regulators, environmentalists, the Democrat governor, the Democrat-controlled state legislature, and farmers have gone on for decades with devastating results. Much of the world’s most fertile farmland lies fallow, as groundwater, its lifeblood, is slowly siphoned off to keep farmers alive.

President-Elect Trump has already wisely tapped a few leaders from the crucial Central Valley region, which is not only known for its agriculture but is also home to vast quantities of domestic oil sitting atop the massive Monterey Shale. Both food and energy security are critical to the security of a nation.

So far the new president’s appointment to EPA, Scott Pruitt, bodes well for California. A “climate-change skeptic,” Pruitt will loathe to ruining the economy in the name of “fake science,” and could be the best friend California farmers have had in decades. Any relief from California’s crushing “climate change” regulations— affecting everything from regulating dust kicked up by tractors, to requiring dairy farmers to capture cow flatulence—could be a windfall for this persecuted industry.

And if the EPA took a balanced approach to the Endangered Species Act, weighing food production against the life of one tiny, insignificant, bait fish—the Delta Smelt—which has become the proxy for the environmentalist activists who populate the bureaucracies at both the federal and state level, water would once again flow to the San Joaquin Valley.

An old saying—“Whiskey’s for drinking, water’s for fighting.”—has been true for far too long.

But water’s not the only thing hanging in the balance.

Land use is a massive issue all over the West.

The Federal Government claims ownership of almost 50% of California’s land—a source of constant harassment for ranchers, loggers and anyone trying to operate a business in or around the land controlled by BLM, US Forest Services, and other federal agencies. Picking a Representative from a western state like Ryan Zinke of Montana, as the nominee for Secretary of the Interior was another brilliant move.

But the biggest issue that Mr. Trump raised in his campaign by far—and the one that is front and center in the showdown with the California Democrat monopoly—is immigration.

What a President Trump does on immigration affects California’s 38 million people more than any other state.

California officials have declared California to be a “sanctuary” from any enforcement of federal immigration laws, and are defying the new president by refusing to cooperate with immigration officials in any way—preferring to dump criminal aliens on the streets so they can terrorize citizens rather than hand them over for deportation.

Since immigration is one of the specifically enumerated duties of the Federal Government, this is the fight you need to pick, Mr. President.

A few action items to consider:

California Stupidity Installment #32: Paying for Sex-Change for Convicted Murderer

How do you describe the abject insanity that comprises what is just another day in California?

In addition to funding free college tuition and free healthcare for illegal aliens, now California has funded it’s first sex-change operation for a convicted killer in prison serving a life sentence.

According to a Sacramento News station,

“California prison officials agreed in August 2015 to pay for the surgery for Shiloh Heavenly Quine, who was convicted of first-degree murder, kidnapping and robbery for ransom and has no possibility of parole.”

If this makes no sense whatsoever to you, you’re not alone. California is dumping dangerous and violent felons back onto the streets due to a lack of space thanks to Gov. Jerry “Moonbeam” Brown’s so-called reforms—AB109, Prop 47 and Prop 57, which are nothing more than early release programs.

Farida Baig, whose father was kidnapped, held for ransom and murdered by the transgender murderer, Shiloh Heavenly Quine, puts it in perspective.

“My dad begged for his life,” said Farida Baig, who tried unsuccessfully to block Quine’s surgery through the courts. “It just made me dizzy and sick. I’m helping pay for his surgery; I live in California. It’s kind of like a slap in the face.”

This is a slap in the face of every California taxpayer. And it’s despicable for California prison officials to waste public dollars on making a cold-blooded murderer more comfortable simply because the prisoner pulls the transgender card. After the operation is completed, they’re going to transfer this 57-year old murderer to a women’s prison.

I’m sorry, but since Shiloh Heavenly Quine murdered a 33-year old father of three as a biological male, doesn’t it make sense for that same person—a male—to suffer the consequences?

Quine told a prison psychologist who recommended her for the operation that it would bring a “drastic, internal completeness.”

And prison officials have trotted out the 8th Amendment claiming the sex reassignment surgery is justified by a diagnosis of “gender dysporia”.

Seems like a clever excuse to avoid the punishment of living in a violent, dangerous world of his own making. Using transgenderism as the rationale for a state-sponsored sex change in order to move to a less violent environment is simply the excuse du jour.

Only in California.
